Men’s jacket with brass by Jean Paul Gaultier, 1988
DNR magazine noted in 1987 that Gaultier had a “limitless creative slant on traditional men’s wear themes.” This jacket features an enamelled metal medallion below a golden crown, surrounded by fleur de lys pendants and beads to evoke a medieval aesthetic.
